a little birdy told me

I recently stumbled on Kelly Smith's website, Birdy & Me. Smith is a freelance fashion illustrator based in Australia who's drawings have been featured in Vogue. Her drawings of the Chanel Haute Couture shows are so vivid, that her talented work makes it hard to tell that these are actual drawings and not photographs. Smith's skill is simply exquisite, it almost makes me want to become a fashion illustrator myself. Too bad I can barely draw a tree...

spinning the bottle

Last Monday, I attended the new Monday night party at the Roxy in Los Angeles, called Spin the Bottle. I'd say the name is fitting, considering the age group that was in attendance. Spin the Bottle entailed a night of mayhem, claustrophobia, and overall griminess. Which isn't to say that I didn't have the time of my life. Because I did. I realized that the overcrowded, sweaty atmosphere was the beauty of Spin the Bottle, and that's what made it so fun. I don't think I or anyone else at the Roxy has ever sweat as profusely as we did that night, but I could have cared less about the putrid stench of body odor as I danced to DJ AM's beautiful remixes of my favorites such as Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon and Kids by MGMT. Oh, the memories.

Of course, any worthwhile party in LA is photographed by The Cobrasnake... Oh, but look who's on The Cobrasnake's website... (yes that's me)

hallelujah tallulah

Tallulah Morton

Tallulah Morton, Australian model and The Cobrasnake's new muse. She's said to be the current Australian It-girl and is known for frequenting the various party scenes. Overall, she pulls off a pretty bad ass routine. Did I mention she's only 17, the same age as yours truly?

coaching the kids

This editorial holds a special place in my heart, because it documents the Coachella Music Festival which I attended this year. Honestly, words cannot describe the amazing-ness of it.

fashion relief

I FINALLY fixed the header for Chic Decay. It bothered me so much, and now I feel so relieved. Somehow this Michael Oats photo makes me feel better. Enjoy. <3
